Buying advice
Solitaire or trilogy: which ring suits you?
Compare the look, side-diamond choices and price structure of these two engagement-ring styles.

Start with the design you enjoy looking at, then work through the details.
A solitaire keeps the focus on the centre
A single centre diamond gives you a straightforward starting point. Compare the claw arrangement, gallery and band profile: two solitaires with the same diamond shape can look quite different from the side.
A trilogy adds a pair of side stones
The sides can echo the centre’s shape or introduce a contrast, such as pear-shaped sides beside a round centre. Their size changes the overall balance. In the preview, you can leave matching to the jeweller or request a side-pair weight.
Compare complete prices
Our engagement-ring setting prices exclude the centre diamond. Trilogy starting prices include the entry side pair; a different pair may add cost. Keep the centre, side-size upgrades and any engraving in mind when setting your total budget.
Think about the wedding band
Look at the gallery and the space beneath the centre setting. A band that appears to fit in a top view may meet the setting differently in profile. Check the two rings together before choosing a pairing.
