Information we use and why
When you enquire or order, we use the details you provide: your name, contact information, billing and delivery addresses, order selections and correspondence. We use these to answer your request, process and deliver orders, provide aftercare and handle returns. Processing necessary to take requested steps before a sale or perform the sale contract relies on that contractual purpose.
We retain information needed for tax, accounting and other legal duties where required by law. We also use proportionate technical and transaction information to maintain the website, prevent fraud and resolve disputes, for our legitimate interests in operating a secure business. These interests are considered alongside your rights.
Information we receive from payment and delivery providers may include payment status, transaction references and delivery updates. Card information is handled through the payment provider’s secure facilities; do not send full card details by email or WhatsApp.
Service providers
Our WordPress and WooCommerce shop uses hosting and technical support, payment processing through WooPayments and its payment partners, and delivery services including Royal Mail. Necessary information is shared with the relevant provider to carry out that service. When you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, that service also processes information under its own privacy terms. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary or legally required.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where we arrange a restricted transfer, applicable data-protection safeguards must be in place. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long information is kept
We keep order and accounting information for the period required by relevant legal obligations, and information needed for a dispute or ongoing aftercare while that purpose remains. Enquiry information is kept only as long as needed to answer and reasonably follow up the enquiry. Retention depends on the purpose, the applicable obligations and any unresolved issue; you can ask us about a particular record.
Your rights
